2011 Leadership Conference and Annual Meeting
"Faces of Leadership"
September 22-24, 2011
Minneapolis, MN (Chapter City)
The 2011 Leadership Conference and Annual Meeting emphasized the leadership capabilities and potential in each member. The conference focused on the individual member and their potential to become a leader, not only in their professional life, but in their personal life as well. Each day of the conference focused on one of our leadership faces.
A new feature added to this year's format was the first EWI Town Hall Meeting. This hour-long session allowed all representatives to share their visions and dreams for EWI as well as ask questions of EWI leadership.
To read a full summary of the conference, view photos, and listen to Sharon Bennett's (immediate past Corporate President) speech, please visit the Members Only area.
2011 Spring Conference
April 14-16, 2011
Tulsa, OK (Chapter City)
It was wonderful to see so many new and familiar faces at Spring Conference. Our theme was Leadership: A Growth Experience. With more than 90 people in attendance, it was a great sign that leadership growth is contagious.
The new Academy of Leadership course, Finding Your Voice ~ An Experience in Leadership written and presented by Lori Giovannoni, helped us define our personal leadership brand. Our brand conveys our identity and communicates the value we offer as a leader. We learned that social intelligence is very important in our leadership growth. Then we all had fun with the DiSC Leadership Style.
Once again, EWI of Tulsa thanks all who attended the 2011 Spring Leadership Conference. We hope you had a growth experience worth sharing with your Chapter members. Encourage them to attend LCAM so they can experience the "Faces of Leadership."
2010 Leadership Conference and Annual Meeting
September 23-25, 2010
Kansas City, MO (Chapter City)
More than 400 of EWI representatives divided their time between professional and leadership development courses, Chapter to Chapter connections, and participation in delegate and voting process of the organization’s annual meeting.
EWI takes pride in its community involvement in the conference’s host city. In 2010, EWI selected the Second Grade Class of a local school, Whittier Elementary, and donated books, supplies, and additional revenue to help support the 75+ Second Graders.
