EWI Scholarship Programs

EWI proudly offers three programs, ASIST, EWISP, and FELLOWS to help qualified applicants achieve their academic goals. EWI Chapters that participate in these programs develop their own criteria regarding deadlines, areas of limitation, eligible schools, and partner agencies.

Applicants must first apply through local Chapters before being eligible for any EWI Corporate Awards within these programs. Please locate your nearest Chapter and contact that Chapter to learn about scholarship offerings.  

 Adult Students in Scholastic Transition (ASIST)

Available to adults facing economic, social, or physical challenges, who are looking to improve their situation through educational opportunities. Last year local EWI Chapters and corporate ASIST scholarships totaled more than $250,000.

ASIST is coordinated by each participating EWI Chapter. Each Chapter has its own deadline date for submitting an application, so please contact your local Chapter to obtain their timeline for the application process. Applications should be submitted to the president of participating EWI Chapters.

Local Chapters of EWI partner with educational providers and social services agencies to identify potential ASIST candidates. Students first apply and compete at the local Chapter level. Chapter-level winners are submitted to the Corporate level for the opportunity to be selected for one of thirteen scholarships ranging from $2,000 - $10,000.

Executive Women International Scholarship Program (EWISP)

 

The EWI Scholarship Program (EWISP) is an annual, competition-based program which awards more than $200,000 in college scholarship money to qualifying high school seniors each year.

Students are nominated by their schools to participate in the scholarship competition. Judges select winning students based on their scholastic achievement, leadership qualities, good citizenship and extra-curricular activities.

High school seniors first apply for EWISP and then compete at the local Chapter level where award levels vary (Participating Chapters listed below). Chapter level winners are submitted to the Corporate level for a chance to win one of multiple scholarships. Scholarship Awards range between $1,000 and $5,000.

Fellows Scholarship

The EWI FELLOWS scholarship program is available to EWI Member Representatives only. This scholarship is designed to help EWI members who are completing their higher education and in need of financial assistance. The total amount awarded may be up to  $15,000 and is based on the number of applicants and the amount requested.
