  Welcome Speakers and thank you for your interest in EWI. On this page, you will find information about our speaking opportunities, fees, topics, and audience numbers.

We are looking for experienced speakers that can deliver quality professional development to our members. We work with speakers who believe in the mission of EWI and want to form a partnership with us.

Speaking Opportunities

Career Track Sessions (Leadership Conference & Annual Meeting)

EWI hosts its Leadership Conference & Annual Meeting in September at varying locations. Attendance averages run about 600 people. EWI holds other events as well throughout the year of varying sizes.

Keynote addresses are by invitation ONLY.

Speaking opportunities at this event are limited to 2-3 career track seminars that run for one hour. Each career track is held twice. Expected audience is between 100-200 attendees.

Topics should focus on professional development and/or leadership skills. Topics have included: Life/Work Balance, Networking, Understanding Generational Differences, Enhancing Administrative Skills, Career Development and Communication.

Travel and hotel expenses will be paid by EWI and fee is negotiated within budget. In addition to this fee, we offer names and contact information of conference attendees and will sell books or products at our on-site bookstore. You will also be able attend all conference events free of charge during the time you are on location.

Presidents Caucus

Presidents Caucus is held in conjunction with the Leadership Conference & Annual Meeting. It provides training for the new Chapter presidents of EWI’s Chapters.

This speaking opportunity involves a two-hour leadership training session. Topics should focus directly on training for leadership roles. Topics have included: Presentation Skills, Membership Recruitment, and Board Management. Expected audience is 100 attendees.

Travel and hotel expenses will be paid by EWI and fee is negotiated within budget. In addition to this fee, we offer names and contact information of conference attendees and will sell books or products at our on-site bookstore. You will also be able attend all conference events free of charge during the time you are on location.

Academy of Leadership

EWI’s Academy of Leadership consists of four courses containing skills training on Volunteer Leadership, Communication, Relationship Building, and the Art of Possibility.

We are looking for dynamic speakers/trainers who will present EWI material in this day-long seminar. Audiences range from 60-200 attendees.

Presenters selected for the Academy of Leadership should have an understanding of the EWI dynamic. We typically select speakers who have worked with EWI in one (or more) of the areas described in this section.

Travel and hotel expenses will be paid by EWI and fee is negotiated within budget. In addition to this fee, we offer names and contact information of Academy attendees and will sell books or products on-site or from our website.

Teleseminars

EWI offers skill building teleseminars and author chats to our membership. These seminars are held four to six times a year and last one hour. Number of participants range from 50-100.

Topics should focus on professional development and/or leadership skills. Past tele-seminar topics have included: Networking, Negotiations, Balance, and Ethics.

Book selections have included Hesselbein on Leadership, Who Moved My Cheese?, When Generations Collide, and 101 Ways to Get Your Foot in the Door.

Fees for these sessions are negotiated within budget. In addition to this fee, we offer names and contact information of all participants. We will provide your website links on our website and advertise books or products from our site.

Local Professional Development

EWI has chapters located throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. Each Chapter provides monthly professional development programs to its membership.

Speaking needs for each Chapter vary and audiences range from 25-100 attendees. Topics focus on professional development and/or leadership skills.

Please mark cities in which you would be willing to speak and our EWI Chapters will contact you directly. Travel expenses and fees will be negotiated with the local Chapter.
