The Power of the Diverse Communicator course teaches the communication skills which are the foundation for effective leadership in every organization. Note the distinction between leader and leadership:

A leader is an individual who is usually designated to carry out some specific role within an organization that requires directing and influencing the behaviors of others.

Leadership refers to behaviors that move people toward desired goals or ends. Many people, whether they are leaders by title or not, can enact leadership behaviors within an organization.

Since leadership encompasses all activities that induce desired behaviors in other people through communication, leadership skills are essentially the skills of communication.
