EWI and the 1,000 Year Nashville Flood

I am sure you have heard on the news about the 13-20 inches of rainfall May 1 & 2 that fell in a deluge from Mississippi to Kentucky, hitting the Nashville area and surrounding counties with a devastating impact. Our beautiful and historic downtown and vast areas throughout the city were flooded when the 3 rivers overflowed from rain and forced release from our 3 dams. The Opry House, Opryland Hotel, LP Field home of the Titans, The Country Music Hall of Fame and many others were flooded.

Association management companies create advantages for cost reductions for non-profit organizations. Thirty second graders from Houston’s MacGregor Elementary School recently experienced the 2007 Corporate Reading Rally event, where 10 costumed characters from several companies lent a hand (or paw) to Windsor, Ontario’s Kay Douglas, author, illustrator and Executive Women International (EWI) member, who read to the children in front of 350 EWI members representing numerous cities and businesses throughout the U.S. and Canada.
